Jordan is our 6-year-old beagle — more than a pet, he is family. Like many dog parents, there came a time when we had to leave Jordan at a commercial boarding. We trusted the place, believing he would be safe and cared for.
But when Jordan came back, something felt terribly wrong.
His health had deteriorated badly, and what hurt us the most was that no one informed us about what he was going through. As dog parents, that pain, guilt, and helplessness stayed with us. We kept thinking —
“Agar Jordan ke saath yeh ho sakta hai, toh kitne aur dog parents ne bhi yeh same cheez face ki hogi?”
That thought changed everything.
Meet Ankita & Hanush — the family behind Bark ‘N Stay
We are Ankita and Hanush — a couple who have shared our home with Jordan since he was a pup. Between us, we have always believed that dogs don’t just need food and shelter — they need familiar smells, familiar faces, and a routine that makes them feel secure.
After Jordan’s experience, we spent months speaking to other dog parents and researching what dogs truly need when their families are away. What we found was a clear gap — Gurgaon had kennels, it had commercial facilities, but it didn’t have a real home. So, we decided to open ours.
In 2024, with a heavy heart but a strong purpose, Bark N Stay was born — not as a commercial setup, but as a home-style dog boarding built on one simple promise: no dog should ever go through what Jordan went through.
Our Vision Was Simple:
To create a place where dogs don’t feel like they’ve been left at a boarding facility — but feel like they’ve come to another home.
At Bark N Stay, every dog experiences a ghar jaisa environment — free to relax, play, and simply be themselves. No cages. No cold commercial vibes. Just warmth, safety, love, and personal care.
